On the day of the solar eclipse, Guflux brings you the Syzygy EP.

The 7-track Syzygy EP is the final quarter in Guflux’s moon cycle, and an epilogue to 2014’s New Moon and Dark Moon. The EP unfolds with Sorrow (Sanctification Edit), to further entice you with the Solar Remix of Laika by Charles Fenech. After this trip into the unknown, British cello player Marvin Ayres accompanies you to Terra Nivium with his haunting ambient sounds.

On the 22nd of November, during the new moon, Guflux and Sensory Gate join forces to release the single Tora Firome (Radio Edit).

The song was originally written by Guflux and Dutch techno producer Jamez, best known for his work under the name Trancesetters.

I’m very excited to announce that Guflux is now a part of the DraumList family. Inside DraumList, Jeroen Hindriks is the agent and promotor to take care of ‘the business side of things’. Since I have never been very good at that part of the music scene, I am glad Jeroen will be there to help me spread the word and music of Guflux.

Under a full moon, Guflux releases the single Ey Maah, featuring Sepideh Vahidi. The song is the first single taken from the album New Moon, and was co-written by Australian musician Charles Fenech, best known for his electronic project AngelTheory.

On May 13th 2014, Dutch television program Altijd Wat will cover relatively unknown hearing conditions. This time there will be an interview with John van Loon about his experience with tinnitus and hyperacusis as a musician.

Under a new moon, Guflux releases the brand new single Just Another Day. The song was recorded back in 2008 when John was already experiencing hearing difficulties, and is now officially released as a single to celebrate John’s return into music.

Megahertz Records release the second Sensory Gate album Civisolation. Guflux lent his voice for the melancholic final track Kyrie (Prayer for the Lost).

The special edition two-disc set Blue Moon combines the Guflux albums New Moon and Dark Moon into one unique box. The limited release comes in a large triple gatefold sleeve and holds a 7″ booklet with artwork by Dracorubio.
